About
Jacob Schreiber was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV (Go Golden Knights!) where he first began drumming at the age of 9. After playing in every middle school and high school music program possible, he later attended Berklee College of Music where he came about 5 semester too short of actually graduating. Always learning and honing his skill, he recently finished a one year mentorship with drummer Matt Johnson (St. Vincent, Jeff Buckley)
The professional phase of this career started in Brooklyn, New York 7 years ago. From that base, he has worked in various sessions in New York City, Los Angeles, London, and Las Vegas.
His work has brought him to the attention of several producers including Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys), Craig Silvey (The national, Arcade Fire) and Brian Viglione (The Dresden Dolls Nine Inch Nails, Violent Femmes).
Jacob is currently the drummer for the artist TOMI (RCA). He is happiest when behind a set of Drums playing music.
